There are several program categories within the U.S. J-1 Visa Exchange Visitor Program.  More than 300,000 qualified candidates from almost every country in the world come to the United States to be a part of this very exciting program!  This experience is the best way to meet people, build professional and personal relationships, learn other cultures while at the same time improve your skills, participate in American business and advance your career!  


Below are the two (2) J-1 Visa programs we offer.  See which one applies to you. 

J-1 Internship Program

Internship programs are designed to allow foreign college and university students and recent graduates to visit the United States to gain exposure to U.S. culture and to receive hands-on experience in U.S. business practices in their chosen field.

  •  Non-U.S. citizen
  • 18 – 28 years old
  • Proficiency in English
  • Education Level / Employment History: Currently enrolled full-time and actively pursuing studies at a recognized degree granting institution outside the United States OR have graduated from such an institution no more than 12 months prior to desired internship start date with internship in your field of study

J-1 Trainee Program

This program is designed to allow foreign professionals to come to the United States to gain exposure to U.S. culture and to receive training in U.S. business practices in their chosen occupational field.

  •  Non-U.S. citizen
  •  Minimum 18 years
  •  Proficiency in English
  •  Education Level / Employment History: A degree from a foreign, recognized academic institution and at least one year of related full-time work experience outside the United States OR five (5) years of work experience outside the United States in the desired training field
